Founder, Link2Fitness.

Certified Group Fitness Instructor (GFI), American Council on Exercise (ACE)

Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), American Council on Exercise (ACE)

Background

I have been in the fitness industry for more than ten years, starting as Group Fitness Instructor, teaching Aerobic and Step Classes, and now as a full-time Personal Trainer.

From a young age, I was very athletic, always trying different sports from soccer and squash to Martial Arts to see what I’d enjoy.

Like most high school leavers who have no clue what to do after high school, I decided to study Accounting because it was the in-thing then, and I thought I would make some real money working for a big corporation.

While pursuing my studies, I got a job as an accountant for a small company in Nairobi, and that was when I quickly realized that a desk job was not my cup of tea.

Six months later, I quit the job and joined the fitness industry, and the journey has been enriching.

When I became a fitness trainer, I quickly felt at home because whatever I did seemed effortless and natural. I had found my passion, and there was no turning back.

Working daily by helping people from all walks of life to transform their lives through fitness and healthy living is and continues to be my source of fulfilment.

Over the years, I have trained clients with different needs such as weight loss, muscle building and injury recovery. And as a result, I have gained a wealth of experience handling clients, especially those looking to get in shape and those who want rehabilitation after an injury.

My Fitness Philosophy

My philosophy about keeping fit is that fitness should be all-encompassing, meaning you must have strength, flexibility, endurance and speed to live a fully functional life.

So, I create my exercise programs depending on your goals. I tailor a workout routine to meet your specific needs while working on your weaker areas to build a balanced body.

The most rewarding part of my job is helping you transform your body by gaining strength, fitness, and confidence to enjoy a healthy and meaningful life.

When not training clients, I enjoy long walks in nature, swimming, reading good books, and spending time with my family and friends.

My Specialty: Pilates and Fat Loss

Once You Become My Client:

  • I will coach you through the basics of exercise, help you build a solid foundation, and give you the confidence to unleash your potential.

Philip Agina

Certified Fitness Instructor/ Personal Trainer (Kenyatta University)

Background

During my times as an amateur soccer player, I admired how our conditioning coach would challenge us with a variety of fitness drills that left us gasping for breath but kept us in shape.

I loved the way he trained us and as a result, I made up my mind that I would pursue a career in fitness after school. Because of my huge interest in becoming a fitness coach, I smoothly transitioned into the fitness industry.

Over the past 17 years, I have acquired a wide range of skills including boxing, aqua aerobics and handling clients with special conditions. This includes training clients with prosthetic limbs and those recovering from hip replacement surgery. In addition, I’m well versed in all matters regarding weight training, Aqua aerobics, and body weight training.

My go-to training style is circuit training. I like it because it burns a massive amount of calories and gets my clients fit in the shortest time possible.

I am patient, tolerant and fair with all my clients and do my best to make them feel special and appreciated during and after our sessions.

My main driving force is to help my clients improve their quality of life and reach their fitness goals.
